The large diversity of habitat and wildlife, with breath-taking scenery throughout Coutada 9 makes for an opportunity of great potential for both amature and proffesional, nature and wildlife photographers.

Birding:

The coutada is home to an outstanding diversity of birds due to the large diversity of habitats found in Coutada 9. A list of the many species is being recorded, over 200 species have been observed so far, but as of yet is incomplete. The importance of the Western Safaris' conservation in Coutada 9 cannot be overstated in its role in the protection and survival of many bird species. Large Wilderness Reserves are key to the survival of all of Africa’s endangered large raptors especially Vultures and Eagles. The development of water has been a huge benefit to all bird species for drinking and bathing while also providing wetland habitats for water birds.

Fishing:

Coutada 9's dams offer bank fishing in amaizing wilderness surroundings. There are exceptional trophy Largemouth Bass and indigernous Tilapia inhabiting in the dams  It is possible to observe numerous game species as they come down to the water to slack their thirst and graze on the lush vegetation growth on the banks. Fisherman are advised to keep in mind they are in a dangerous game area, Elephant, Buffalo and Lion may all be encounted at the dams.
